Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These terms govern the use of the eBerber platform (web + mobile app) operated by Osteam Software. By registering or booking an appointment on the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Nature of the service
eBerber is an intermediary platform connecting customers with barber/salon businesses. The service itself (haircut, grooming, etc.) is provided by the business; the business is responsible for the quality of the service.
2. Bookings and deposits
- If a business requires a deposit, the suggested amount is 10% of the service price. The deposit is sent directly to the business using the payment method the business shares on the booking confirmation page (IBAN, Tikkie, payment link, etc.) — eBerber does not collect, process, or hold this amount in any way.
- An appointment that requires a deposit stays "awaiting confirmation" until the business confirms it has received the deposit; the appointment is then confirmed.
- Cancellations made more than 30 minutes before the appointment are refunded by the business.
- If you don't show up without cancelling (a "no-show"), the deposit is not refunded.
- If the business cancels the appointment, the deposit is always refunded.
- Any dispute regarding the deposit is directly between the customer and the business; since eBerber does not process this payment, it has no access to the deposit amount.
3. Business membership
- The membership fee is, regardless of the business's country, € 18/month (1 staff member included) + € 7/month per extra staff member. The first 7 days are free.
- Fees are billed automatically each month from the registered payment method (via Mollie, in EUR), regardless of which country the payment card was issued in.
- A business whose payment fails is closed for bookings until payment is completed.
- Membership can be cancelled at any time; service continues until the end of the current period.
4. User obligations
- Registration details must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Your account and password must not be shared; you're responsible for activity on your account.
- The platform may not be misused (fake bookings, unauthorised actions on someone else's behalf, systematic data scraping, etc.). Violations may result in account suspension.
5. Limitation of liability
eBerber is not liable for indirect damages arising from the outcome of a service provided by a business or from business-initiated cancellations. We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform running without interruption; planned maintenance is announced in advance.
6. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; the current version is always published on this page. Questions: info@e-berber.com
